You won’t be surprised to hear that the data to cure diseases is probably already out there. But, the data required for medical innovation is hard to capture and process. This makes progress and success in finding those cures slow and risky.

That’s where Plex Research comes in. Plex has created a novel technology that allows scientists to answer complex drug discovery questions by identifying convergences in far-flung, disparate experimental data.

We’ll learn more about this technology with our guest today, Doug Selinger, Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Plex Research.

Doug is an early pioneer of microarray technology; he authored some of the first publications describing experimental and computational approaches for large-scale transcriptional analyses. After completing his Ph.D. in George Church’s lab at Harvard, he joined the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research where his 14-year career spanned the entire drug discovery.

In this episode, John Belizaire, CEO of Soluna, and Doug Selinger discuss the convergence of data across academia, healthcare, and scientific research, with AI.
